Tamesol is producing advertisements and it places the advertisements where it is deemed appropriate or where the client dictates it to be and check if the ad is placed where it is wanted.
Questions and Answers
Tamesol started the first Q and A program on ETV and is still producing entertaining and educating episodes every week on Thursday evenings. The program’s motto is ‘Knowledge brings Reward’ and over the last 10 years have handed out more than 1 million birr in rewards to contestants. During these programs advertisements are placed by either sponsors or interested companies.
Tamesol monitors the programs in order to make sure that
- The sponsors’ advertisements are placed at the right time and place and
- The different advertisements that pass through the company are placed according to the specification provided by the clients.
Tamesol directly participated in media planning and placement for Huawei. Huawei is the second largest telecom giant in the world and it has set up its office in Ethiopia. Tamesol is providing different services such as advertisement production, media planning, buying (negotiation and placement) and monitoring for TV and Radio Ads.
During the different event management projects Tamesol plans the media mix (which includes TV, Radio, newspaper, web, mobile, banners, Billboards, flyers and posters) in order to make the event known to the general public and specific target groups. It should be noted that the media planning and buying service for event management usually entailed a nationwide placement strategy.
